Our feet have finally touched the ground after an exciting time at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and our cheeks have only just stopped aching from smiling at our GOLD MEDAL!! We were also fortunate enough to take home the award for Best Discovery Exhibit – not bad for our first time! What an amazing experience, not only to exhibit at the very prestigious show, but also to have the opportunity to meet so many of the amazing orchid-loving public that shared their stories of loving orchids with us. Thank you all!
Love Orchids appeared at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year with a stand depicting the ‘Story of Phalaenopsis’ in the Discovery Zone. The story encompassed all aspects of Phalaenopsis from their natural habitat, to Victorian plants hunters and how we grow them today.
The week started off with the Press Day where our stand was visited by celebrities like David Walliams, Bill Bailey, Fearne Cotton, Jo Wood, Nigel Havers, Nicki Chapman and even Prince Phillip himself!
Visitors flocked to our beautiful and dramatic Rainforest Walkway and we were awarded a Gold medal and crowned Best Discovery Exhibit. Not too shabby for our first ever appearance!
Our technical experts were kept very busy in our home zone answering lots of questions and giving advice to enthusiastic orchid lovers.
